Theatre
I am a dramaturg and theatre researcher with a particular interest in political, feminist and queer theatre, collaborative practices, theatre translation, and opera.
Part of my dramaturgical practice is translating and adapting plays. I have translated two plays by Finnish feminist playwright Minna Canth: Anna Liisa (1895) and The Worker’s Wife (Työmiehen vaimo) (1885) and am currently working on a translation her play Children of Misfortune (Kovan onnen lapsia) (1888). I am also currently translating and researching the play Kellarikerroksessa (The Basement Flats) (1907) by Elvira Willman.
Please do get in touch if you are interested in collaborating.
I am also a founding member of theatre company Good Friends for a Lifetime. Our play The Netherhole Martyr (2025) was published by Strange Region Press and is available here.
