Theatre

I am a dramaturg and theatre researcher, with a particular interest in feminist and queer theatre, collaborative practices, theatre translation, and opera.

I consider translating plays to be part of my dramaturgical practice. I have translated two plays by Finnish feminist playwright Minna Canth: Anna Liisa and The Worker’s Wife (Työmiehen vaimo) and am currently working on a translation her play Children of Misfortune (Kovan onnen lapsia). I am also currently translating and researching the play Kellarikerroksessa (The Basement Flats) by Elvira Willman.

Please do get in touch if you are interested in collaborating.

I am a founding member of theatre company Good Friends for a Lifetime.
